The association of the Living Nativity Scene of Colmenar de Oreja was born with two very clear premises:

1st.- Generate resources for the maintenance of the current Representation of the Living Nativity Scene, so that this cultural legacy survives over time in our town.

2nd.- To be able to assist the disadvantaged children of our town and surrounding areas in those aspects that we detect in communion with the official institutions of the town and region.

Our main profile is described in these two previous premises, and in our determination of work and efforts so that the activities dedicated to our children and young people occur throughout the year and have their final culmination in the Christmas Performance.

We are a NON-PROFIT association, officially and legally constituted (its statutes are available on this website), and integrated into the meetings of Living Nativity Scenes of the Community of Madrid, and which will soon form a FEDERATION within this Community and in whose commission of work we are formally integrated, so our leadership in these works will allow us to occupy a prominent place in the organization and promote the image of Colmenar de Oreja throughout the Community of Madrid.
